Pianos that are tuned be a ETD, are all tuned the same way ,without making adjustments for the difference on piano quality ,sizes and type. Pianos are build with diferent harmonics and scales.

When a piano is tuned by ear, the piano is been tuned and adjusted accordingly to that particular piano.

Taking in consideration the scales and harmony of that instrument.

Small adjustments are made to maintained the integrity of the piano,acomplishing a much acuarated and fine tuning.
